StudentFlow or doing it yourself

Doing it yourself, or StudentFlow.

Doing it yourself costs an hour or so per post in CapCut or Canva, every week, forever, and the feed dies the week you skip it. StudentFlow builds finished posts and ads from three to five of your own clips within the hour; you approve each with a tap. It has brought new students through the door.

What doing it yourself actually costs

The tools are cheap. Third-party price guides from mid-2026 put CapCut Pro at about $19.99 a month and Canva Pro at about $18 a month in the US, both with free tiers; we could not read either company's own pricing page on 15 September 2026, so check them. The tools are not the cost.

The cost is the hour. Pick the clips, trim them, find a track, cut to the beat, add text, check the spelling, export in 9:16, export again in 4:5, write the caption, find the hashtags, post. Then do it again on Thursday. Owners who are good at this still stop, because the hour is the one after teaching, and the feed goes quiet in March and stays quiet. A quiet feed looks like a closed studio to anyone checking.

There is a second cost that is easy to miss. Posts made at eleven at night are made about whatever clip was easiest to find, not about the worry a nervous beginner has. They show the good dancers, because the good dancers are fun to watch. They rarely answer the question that decides whether a stranger comes.

None of this is an argument against the tools. CapCut and Canva are good, and an owner who enjoys editing can make excellent posts with them. It is an argument about the hour, and about who the post is for.

What StudentFlow does with the same hour

You upload three to five clips from your camera roll, of any quality, in the time it takes to send them to a friend. StudentFlow finds the moments that carry the class, cuts them to the music, frames them for Reels and for the feed, burns your words and your brand onto the video and writes the caption and hashtags. Within the hour you have a week's worth of finished posts. You approve each with a tap. Every word is editable before it is burned, and nothing is published without your approval.

It builds each post around one belief a nervous beginner needs to hold, and picks the moments that show it, so the post is about the person you want in the room rather than the clip that was nearest. When you want to grow faster, the same post runs as a Meta ad from your own account and card, and each new student who came through it traces back to the post. It has brought new students through the door.

It is free to try with no credit card; if you like it, we'll get in touch about paying, which is US$19/month per studio, month to month. If you enjoy the editing and you have the hour, keep doing it yourself; the tools are good. If the hour is the reason your feed is quiet, that is the hour StudentFlow was built to remove.

Questions owners ask

I already use CapCut. Can I still edit the result?

Every word on the video is editable in StudentFlow before it is burned, and you can swap a shot from a menu. You download the finished files; if you want to take one further in CapCut, it is yours.

How much of my time does it take each week?

Uploading a few clips and ticking the posts you like. Most owners do it from their phone between classes.

What if I do not like a post?

Skip it, swap a shot, change a word, or ask for another take with one tap. Nothing goes out without your approval.

Where do the CapCut and Canva prices come from?

Third-party price guides from July 2026, because neither company's own pricing page could be read on 15 September 2026. Check their sites.
